GZK CEO: Kelechi Okere is a graduate of law from the university of Ibadan. She trained in pattern making at Ginani fashion school and went on to intern at Gianni for about a year. While interning at Ginani she made patterns for bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses and suit collections. She is a pattern maker with over thirteen years\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n
The GZK brand was launched in 2007 as a ready-to-wear line that creates functional clothes that are affordable, of good quality and perfect fit for women of all sizes and shapes. Our clothes have been featured in numerous publications such as TW, Genevieve, \u00e9lan, True Love and Complete Fashion magazines. \u00a0GZK ethnic kids is a line created for children using tribal prints and Ankara to create clothes for children from 2 -12 years.<\/p>\n
The GZK Training school, trains aspiring fashion designers in pattern making, cutting, sewing, production, sketching and illustration. We also ensure that our students, who are drawn across the broad spectrum of society, are trained on the business side of fashion as fashion is much more than cutting and sewing. It\u2019s about strategies, knowing your target market, costs, pricing and other key variables.<\/p>\n
